I welcome commission inquiries. I accept a limited number of commissions per year, and I work directly with clients to execute a painting, drawing upon the Conceptual Bodies motif. With Appreciation for the UK Supreme Court © 2012

Mixed Media on Canvas 24”x30”

This special commission for the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom incorporates significant symbols of the Court and its history. These include the border of heraldic symbols associated with the Court’s jurisdiction, such as the Tudor rose, the Flax flower, the Leek and the Thistle. The torso consists of the Omega or Libra symbol, which again can be found in the Supreme Court's official logo. The recessed arm contains an abstracted pattern of an eagle’s head, representing the close friendship between the UK and the US Supreme Courts. The fore arm is a pattern representing the UK's constitutional impact on the wider Commonwealth.

You may visit the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom’s website for more information about its art collection.
